In Friday's non-league contest, the visiting Saxony Lutheran Crusaders basketball team scored a big 62-40 triumph over the Oak Ridge Blue Jays.
The Crusaders (5-16) will now prepare for their contest against Scott City (Scott City, MO). The Rams go into the Scott-Mississippi contest with a 21-3 record. In their last contest, Scott City smashed Perryville (Perryville, MO), 97-54, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Blue Jays battle the Bell City Cubs (Bell City, MO) in a non-league contest, on Monday, February 17. Oak Ridge will attempt to better on its 3-16 season record. The Cubs go into the contest with a 11-13 record after their 65-36 non-league loss to Meadow Heights (Patton, MO).
