Louisiana High School Basketball - Union Parish holds off Rayville

In Friday's non-league contest, the host Union Parish Farmers basketball team scored a close 77-72 triumph over the Rayville Hornets.
The Farmers (15-17) will now prepare for their contest against Lincoln Prep (Grambling, LA). The Panthers go into the non-league contest with a 22-8 record. In their last contest, Lincoln Prep nipped Arcadia (Arcadia, LA), 57-52, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Hornets confront the Neville Tigers (Monroe, LA) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, February 18. Rayville will attempt to better on its 11-14 season record. The Tigers go into the contest with a 21-10 record after their 62-40 league win over Pineville (Pineville, LA).
