In Friday's league contest, the host Sterling Black Bears basketball team scored a big 78-54 triumph over the Remington Broncos.
The Black Bears (14-3) will now prepare for their contest against Ell-Saline (Brookville, KS). The Cardinals go into the Heart of America contest with a 15-2 record. In their last contest, Ell-Saline smashed Rural Vista [Hope/White City] (Hope, KS), 69-48, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Broncos battle the Sedgwick Cardinals (Sedgwick, KS) in a Heart of America contest, on Tuesday, February 18. Remington will attempt to better on its 11-5 season record. The Cardinals go into the contest with a 4-12 record after their 50-43 league loss to Marion (Marion, KS).
