In Friday's league contest, the host Shepard Astros basketball team scored a big 61-39 triumph over the Evergreen Park Mustangs.

The Astros (18-6) will now prepare for their contest against Richards (Oak Lawn, IL). The Bulldogs go into the contest with a 1-6 record.
