In Friday's non-league contest, the visiting Central Hinds Academy Cougars basketball team scored a good 37-29 triumph over the Amite School Center Rebels.
The Cougars (28-9) will now prepare for their contest against Washington (Greenville, MS). The Generals go into the non-league contest with a 1-2 record. In their last contest, Washington topped Kirk Academy (Grenada, MS), 47-36, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Rebels battle the Kirk Academy Raiders (Grenada, MS) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, February 15. Amite School Center will attempt to advance on its 14-10 season record. The Raiders enter the battle with a 21-10 record after their 47-36 non-league loss to Washington (Greenville, MS).
