South Dakota High School Basketball - Freeman nips Philip

February 14, 2025: Freeman, SD 57029

In Friday's non-league contest, the host Freeman Flyers basketball team scored a close 67-63 win over the Philip Scotties.

The Flyers (15-3) will now prepare for their contest against Ethan (Ethan, SD). The Rustlers come into the non-league contest with a 16-5 record. In their last contest, Ethan edged Parkston (Parkston, SD), 47-31, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Scotties battle the Harding County Ranchers (Buffalo, SD) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, February 18. Philip will attempt to better on its 9-9 season record. The Ranchers come into the contest with a 17-0 record after their 71-50 non-league win over Tiospaye Topa (Ridgeview, SD).
