The crowd at Friday's non-league challenge between the Lamar Christian Lions (Purvis, MS) and the host Tunica Academy Blue Devils (Tunica, MS), observed Lamar Christian's basketball team overwhelm Tunica Academy by a margin of 48-24.
The Lions (29-4) will now prepare for their challenge against DeSoto (West Helena, AR). The Thunderbirds come into the non-league challenge with a 33-3 record. In their last challenge, DeSoto trounced Benton Academy (Benton, MS), 60-33, in a non-league challenge.
