In Friday's non-league test, the Payson Lions (Payson, UT) basketball squad knocked off the visiting Pine View Panthers (St. George, UT), by a score of 45-34.

Next, the Lions encounter the Sky View Bobcats (Smithfield, UT) in a non-league test, on Thursday, February 20. Payson will attempt to improve on its 20-2 season record. The Bobcats come into the test with a 16-7 record after their 76-35 non-league win over West Field (Taylor, UT).
