The Derryfield Cougars basketball team scored 61 points and limited the visiting Hillsboro-Deering Hillcats to 50 in the Cougars non-league triumph on Friday.

With the loss, Hillsboro-Deering falls to 9-7 on the campaign. The Hillcats host Newport (Newport, KY) to confront the Wildcats in a non-league game on Saturday, February 15. The Wildcats go into the game with a record of 0-2.
