Fans at Friday's non-league contest between the Saint Andrew's Scots (Boca Raton, FL) and the visiting Loyola Cubs (Los Angeles, CA), witnessed Saint Andrew's's lacrosse squad hold off Loyola by a score of 17-16.
The Scots (2-0) will now prepare for their contest against Community School of Naples (Naples, FL). The Seahawks enter the non-league contest with a 1-0 record. In their last contest, Community School of Naples nipped Stoneman Douglas (Parkland, FL), 17-1, in a non-league contest.
Next, the Cubs meet the Belen Jesuit Wolverines (Miami, FL) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, February 15. Loyola will attempt to better on its 0-1 season record. The Wolverines enter the contest with a 1-0 record after their 9-5 non-league win over Calvary Christian Academy (Fort Lauderdale, FL).
