The Newberry Panthers held off the host Saint Stephen's Episcopal Falcons lacrosse team by a tally of 11-10 in Friday's non-league game.
Next up, the Panthers play the Trinity Catholic Celtics (Ocala, FL) in a 1A D3 game, on Tuesday, February 18. Newberry will attempt to advance on its 1-0 season record. The Celtics come into the battle with a 2-0 record after their 9-3 league win over Menendez (St. Augustine, FL).
The Falcons now sport a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Indian Rocks Christian for a non-league battle on Tuesday, February 25.
