Fans at Friday's non-league battle between the Ware County Gators (Waycross, GA) and the visiting Coffee Trojans (Douglas, GA), saw Ware County's soccer squad hold off Coffee by a score of 2-1.

The Gators (2-1) will now prepare for their battle against Berrien (Nashville, GA). The Rebels enter the non-league battle with a 1-1 record. In their last battle, Berrien tipped Brooks County (Quitman, GA), 5-1, in a non-league battle.

Next up, the Trojans confront the Lee County Trojans (Leesburg, GA) in a 6A Area 1 battle, on Tuesday, February 18. Coffee will attempt to improve on its 1-1 season record. The Trojans enter the battle with a 2-0 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Harris County (Hamilton, GA).
