In Friday's non-league match, the host Aledo Bearcats softball team scored a tight 8-4 win over the Rockwall Yellowjackets.
The Bearcats (3-1) will now prepare for their match against McKinney (McKinney, TX). The Lions come into the non-league match with a 0-4 record. In their last match, McKinney was routed by South Grand Prairie (Grand Prairie, TX), 4-3, in a non-league match.
In their next game, the Yellowjackets confront the Marcus Marauders (Flower Mound, TX) in a non-league match, on Friday, February 14. Rockwall will attempt to better on its 0-3 season record. The Marauders come into the match with a 1-1 record after their 5-0 non-league loss to Aledo (Aledo, TX).
