In Friday's non-league test, the Argyle Eagles (Argyle, TX) softball squad the host Caldwell Hornets (Caldwell, TX), by a tally of 11-9.

Next, the Eagles meet the Cooper Cougars (Abilene, TX) in a non-league test, on Saturday, February 15. Argyle will attempt to advance on its 3-3 season record. The Cougars go into the test with a 3-1 record after their 7-4 non-league loss to Bryan (Bryan, TX).
