The crowd at Friday's non-league bout between the George West Longhorns (George West, TX) and the host Kaufer Seahawks (Riviera, TX), observed George West's softball team get by Kaufer by a tally of 12-11.

The Longhorns (2-5) will now prepare for their bout against Pleasanton (Pleasanton, TX). The Eagles go into the non-league bout with a 7-0 record. In their last bout, Pleasanton tipped Dilley (Dilley, TX), 13-0, in a non-league bout.

In their next game, the Seahawks clash with the West Oso Bears (Corpus Christi, TX) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, February 15. Kaufer will attempt to advance on its 0-3 season record.
