The crowd at Friday's non-league bout between the Medina Valley Panthers (Castroville, TX) and the host Jourdanton Indians/Squaws (Jourdanton, TX), observed Medina Valley's softball team prevail over Jourdanton by a tally of 14-3.

The Panthers (2-2) will now prepare for their bout against Churchill (San Antonio, TX). The Chargers go into the non-league bout with a 1-3 record. In their last bout, Churchill was routed by Seguin (Seguin, TX), 6-3, in a non-league bout.

In their next game, the Indians/Squaws clash with the Somerset Bulldogs (Somerset, TX) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, February 18. Jourdanton will attempt to advance on its 1-4 season record. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a 2-3 record after their 6-0 non-league loss to Charlotte (Charlotte, TX).
