In Friday's non-league test, the Sanford-Fritch Eagles (Fritch, TX) softball squad overwhelmed the visiting Sudan Hornets (Sudan, TX), by a tally of 16-4.
Next, the Eagles meet the Lockney Longhorns (Lockney, TX) in a non-league test, on Friday, February 14. Sanford-Fritch will attempt to advance on its 1-1 season record. The Longhorns go into the test with a 1-1 record after their 12-5 non-league loss to Sudan (Sudan, TX).
The Hornets (1-3) will now prepare for their test against Highland Park (Amarillo, TX). The Hornets go into the non-league test with a 0-1 record. In their last test, Highland Park was routed by Littlefield (Littlefield, TX), 22-1, in a non-league test.
