Texas High School Softball - El Paso held off by Coronado

The Coronado Thunderbirds got by the host El Paso Tigers softball squad by a count of 13-12 in Saturday's non-league challenge.

Next, the Thunderbirds meet the Chapin Huskies (El Paso, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, February 17. Coronado will attempt to move on its 1-5 season record. The Huskies come into the battle with a 4-3 record after their 10-8 non-league win over Hanks (El Paso, TX).

With the loss, El Paso moves to 1-5 on the season. The Tigers host Irvin (El Paso, TX) to meet the Rockets in a non-league test on Tuesday, February 17. The Rockets go into the test with a record of 1-4. Irvin lost 16-0 in their recent non-league test against Riverside (El Paso, TX)
