The Cowan Blackhawks (Muncie, IN) basketball nipped the visiting Anderson Prep Academy Jets (Anderson, IN), 54-53 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Blackhawks (1-14) will now prepare for their test against Monroe Central (Parker City, IN). The Golden Bears go into the Mid-Eastern test with a 18-0 record. In their last test, Monroe Central got by Winchester Community (Winchester, IN), 69-58, in a non-league test.
The Jets now own a 1-17 record. They play next when they travel to Randolph Southern for a non-league test on Thursday, February 17. Anderson Prep Academy will encounter a Rebels squad coming off a 55-52 non-league loss to Blackford (Hartford City, IN). The Rebels record now stands at 7-10.
