The Joplin Eagles basketball team scored 80 points and held the host Carl Junction Bulldogs to 44 in the Eagles league triumph on Tuesday.
The Eagles now sport a 14-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Willard for a Central Ozarks contest on Friday, February 18. Joplin will meet a Tigers team coming off a 73-66 league loss to Ozark (Ozark, MO). The Tigers record now stands at 14-10.
The Bulldogs (3-18) will now prepare for their contest against Branson (Branson, MO). The Pirates enter the Central Ozarks contest with a 4-12 record. In their last contest, Branson was routed by Carthage (Carthage, MO), 72-50, in a non-league contest.
