Oswego Indians (Oswego, KS) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Chetopa Hornets (Chetopa, KS), 40-30 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Oswego upgrades its record to 1-16 on the season. The Indians travel to Northeast (Arma, KS) to clash with the Vikings in a non-league bout on Friday, February 18. The Vikings go into the bout with a record of 9-10. Northeast lost 60-42 in their recent non-league bout against Neodesha (Neodesha, KS)

Next up, the Hornets clash with the Altoona-Midway Jets (Buffalo, KS) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, February 17. Chetopa will attempt to upgrade on its 2-11 season record. The Jets go into the bout with a 3-15 record after their 37-30 non-league win over Yates Center (Yates Center, KS).
