St. Edward's Pirates (Vero Beach, FL) boosters exited the stadium content Tuesday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad top the host Melbourne Central Catholic Hustlers (Melbourne, FL), 17-3 in a non-league battle.
The Pirates now own a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they host Okeechobee for a non-league battle on Tuesday, February 22. St. Edward's will clash with a Brahmans squad coming off a 18-0 non-league loss to Jupiter (Jupiter, FL). The Brahmans record now stands at 0-2.
In their next game, the Hustlers clash with the Pine Knights (Stuart, FL) in a non-league battle, on Thursday, February 17. Melbourne Central Catholic will attempt to advance on its 0-1 season record. The Knights come into the battle with a 1-0 record after their 15-3 non-league win over Dwyer (Palm Beach Gardens, FL).
