The Santa Fe Indians routed the visiting Clear Creek Wildcats softball squad by a count of 8-0 in Tuesday's non-league battle.
The Indians (1-0) will now prepare for their battle against Harlan (San Antonio, TX). The go into the non-league battle with a 1-0 record. In their last battle, Harlan topped Brennan (San Antonio, TX), 4-1, in a league battle.
The Wildcats now sport a 0-1 record. They play next when they travel to MacArthur for a non-league battle on Friday, February 18. Clear Creek will meet a Brahmas squad coming off a 8-1 non-league win over Eastlake (El Paso, TX). The Brahmas record now stands at 2-1.
