Glenn Grizzlies (Leander, TX) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Taylor Ducks (Taylor, TX), 12-1 in a non-league challenge.
The Grizzlies now own a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Shoemaker for a non-league challenge on Thursday, February 17.
With the loss, Taylor falls to 0-1 on the campaign. The Ducks host Round Rock Westwood (Austin, TX) to battle the Warriors in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, February 22. The Warriors enter the challenge with a record of 1-2.
