California High School Softball - Rio Hondo Prep South Pasadena

In Tuesday's non-league contest, the South Pasadena Tigers (South Pasadena, CA) softball team overwhelmed the host Rio Hondo Prep Kares (Arcadia, CA), by a margin of 6-1.

With the triumph, South Pasadena moves its record to 1-0 on the year. The Tigers travel to Glendale (Glendale, CA) to play the Nitros in a non-league contest on Thursday, February 17. The Nitros come into the contest with a record of 0-1. Glendale lost 18-0 in their recent non-league contest against Monrovia (Monrovia, CA)

In their next game, the Kares play the Northview Vikings (Covina, CA) in a non-league contest, on Friday, February 18. Rio Hondo Prep will attempt to move on its 0-1 season record. The Vikings come into the contest with a 1-0 record after their 16-2 non-league win over Wilson (Hacienda Heights, CA).
