The Princeville Princes basketball team (Princeville, IL), was nudged 60-53 in Wednesday's league battle with the host Annawan Braves (Annawan, IL)
The Braves now sport a 15-14 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Mercer County for a Lincoln Trail battle on Thursday, February 16. Annawan will battle a Golden Eagles team coming off a 72-35 league win over Galva (Galva, IL). The Golden Eagles record now stands at 23-7.
The Princes (16-12) will now prepare for their battle against Wethersfield (Kewanee, IL). The Flying Geese come into the Lincoln Trail battle with a 13-13 record. In their last battle, Wethersfield edged Ridgewood [AlWood/Cambridge] (Woodhull, IL), 70-49, in a league battle.
