In Wednesday's league outing, the Thomas Stone Cougars (Waldorf, MD) basketball squad beat the visiting Great Mills Hornets (Great Mills, MD), by a count of 63-46.
The Cougars (13-8) will now prepare for their outing against Lackey (Indian Head, MD). The Chargers go into the Southern Maryland outing with a 7-13 record. In their last outing, Lackey was topped by Northern (Owings, MD), 54-45, in a league outing.
The Hornets now hold a 14-6 record. They play next when they travel to Patuxent for a Southern Maryland outing on Friday, February 17.
