In Wednesday's non-league outing, the Sparkman Senators (Harvest, AL) basketball squad beat the host Chelsea Hornets (Chelsea, AL), by a count of 61-41.
The Senators (24-8) will now prepare for their outing against Hewitt-Trussville (Trussville, AL). The Huskies go into the non-league outing with a 26-6 record. In their last outing, Hewitt-Trussville defeated Huntsville (Huntsville, AL), 56-30, in a non-league outing.
The Hornets now hold a 19-8 record.
