The Letcher County Central Cougars / Lady Cougars basketball team (Whitesburg, KY), was toppled 73-65 in Wednesday's non-league battle with the host Floyd Central Jaguars (Eastern, KY)
The Jaguars now possess a 17-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Shelby Valley for a non-league battle on Friday, February 17. Floyd Central will confront a Wildcats team coming off a 80-56 non-league loss to Lawrence County (Louisa, KY). The Wildcats record now stands at 4-14.
The Cougars / Lady Cougars (7-10) will now prepare for their battle against Pikeville (Pikeville, KY). The Panthers come into the non-league battle with a 22-5 record. In their last battle, Pikeville beat Knott County Central (Hindman, KY), 74-38, in a non-league battle.
