New Lothrop Hornets (New Lothrop, MI) backers were pleased Wednesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Webberville Spartans (Webberville, MI), 54-20 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, New Lothrop upgrades its record to 12-6 on the campaign. The Hornets travel to Durand (Durand, MI) to play the Railroaders in a Mid-Michigan bout on Friday, February 17. The Railroaders come into the bout with a record of 13-7. Durand lost 48-41 in their recent non-league bout against Calvary Baptist Academy (Midland, MI)

Next up, the Spartans play the Bendle Tigers (Burton, MI) in a non-league bout, on Friday, February 24. Webberville will attempt to upgrade on its 7-14 season record.
