The St. John's Islanders basketball team (John's Island, SC), was nudged 42-39 in Wednesday's non-league battle with the host Scott's Branch Eagles (Summerton, SC)

The Eagles now possess a 7-13 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Allendale-Fairfax for a non-league battle on Friday, February 17. Scott's Branch will battle a Tigers team coming off a 43-31 non-league win over Hannah-Pamplico (Pamplico, SC). The Tigers record now stands at 13-5.
