In Wednesday's non-league challenge, the Greenwich Cardinals (Greenwich, CT) ice hockey team the visiting Northwest Catholic Lions (West Hartford, CT), by a margin of 6-3.
The Cardinals now possess a 6-12 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Warde/Ludlowe for a FCIAC challenge on Saturday, February 18. Greenwich will clash with a team coming off a 2-1 league win over New Canaan (New Canaan, CT). The record now stands at 15-2.
The Lions (7-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Xavier (Middletown, CT). The Falcons enter the non-league challenge with a 8-7 record. In their last challenge, Xavier by Simsbury (Simsbury, CT), 5-2, in a non-league challenge.
