The St. Augustine Yellow Jackets lacrosse team scored 8 points and limited the host Fletcher Senators to 4 in the Yellow Jackets non-league triumph on Wednesday.
The Yellow Jackets (1-0) will now prepare for their game against Menendez (St. Augustine, FL). The Falcons enter the non-league game with a 1-0 record. In their last game, Menendez edged Stanton (Jacksonville, FL), 19-0, in a non-league test.
In their next game, the Senators face the Atlantic Coast Stingrays (Jacksonville, FL) in a non-league test, on Friday, February 17. Fletcher will attempt to move on its 0-2 season record. The Stingrays come into the test with a 1-0 record after their 17-4 non-league win over Gainesville (Gainesville, FL).
