South Hills Huskies (West Covina, CA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Roosevelt Mustangs (Eastvale, CA), 6-3 in a non-league challenge.

The Huskies now own a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Citrus Valley for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, February 15. South Hills will battle a Blackhawks squad coming off a 10-0 non-league loss to Glendora (Glendora, CA). The Blackhawks record now stands at 0-2.

With the loss, Roosevelt falls to 3-1 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to Chino Hills (Chino Hills, CA) to battle the Huskies in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, February 21. The Huskies enter the challenge with a record of 0-0.
