The Sprayberry Yellow Jackets baseball team scored 10 runs and limited the host Cass Colonels to 5 in the Yellow Jackets non-league victory on Thursday.
The Yellow Jackets (1-0) will now prepare for their match against South Paulding (Douglasville, GA). The Spartans go into the non-league match with a 2-0 record. In their last match, South Paulding edged Cedartown (Cedartown, GA), 11-10, in a non-league match.
The Colonels (1-1) will now prepare for their match against Paulding County (Dallas, GA). The Patriots go into the non-league match with a 0-1 record. In their last match, Paulding County was overwhelmed by Cass (White, GA), 7-5, in a non-league bout.
