Benton Cardinals (St. Joseph, MO) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Bishop LeBlond Eagles (St. Joseph, MO), 62-19 in a league bout.

With the win, Benton upgrades its record to 20-4 on the season. The Cardinals host Pembroke Hill (Kansas City, MO) to clash with the Raiders in a non-league bout on Wednesday, February 21. The Raiders go into the bout with a record of 10-13. Pembroke Hill lost 63-42 in their recent non-league bout against Rock Bridge (Columbia, MO)

Next up, the Eagles clash with the Mid-Buchanan Dragons (Faucett, MO) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, February 20. Bishop LeBlond will attempt to upgrade on its 19-9 season record. The Dragons go into the bout with a 16-8 record after their 65-54 non-league win over Wellington-Napoleon (Wellington, MO).
