The Bergen Tech Knights (Hackensack, NJ) basketball nipped the host Ridgefield Park Scarlets (Ridgefield Park, NJ), 55-50 in Thursday's non-league test.

The Knights (9-16) will now prepare for their test against West Essex (North Caldwell, NJ). The Knights go into the non-league test with a 9-11 record. In their last test, West Essex was tipped by Bloomfield (Bloomfield, NJ), 62-50, in a league test.

The Scarlets now own a 12-13 record. They play next when they travel to Rutherford for a non-league test on Wednesday, February 21. Ridgefield Park will encounter a Bulldogs squad coming off a 67-29 non-league loss to Tenafly (Tenafly, NJ). The Bulldogs record now stands at 17-7.
