Texas High School Basketball - Edgewood nips Big Sandy

Edgewood Bulldogs (Edgewood, TX) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Big Sandy Wildcats (Big Sandy, TX), 59-56 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Edgewood upgrades its record to 19-14 on the campaign.

Next up, the Wildcats play the Douglass Indians (Douglass, TX) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, February 20. Big Sandy will attempt to upgrade on its 13-16 season record. The Indians come into the bout with a 24-8 record after their 79-21 league win over New Summerfield (New Summerfield, TX).
