Missouri High School Basketball - Sikeston crushes Caruthersville

Sikeston Bulldogs (Sikeston, MO) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Caruthersville Tigers (Caruthersville, MO), 94-49 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Sikeston upgrades its record to 23-0 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to Jackson (Jackson, MO) to clash with the Fighting Indians in a Southeast Missouri bout on Friday, February 16. The Fighting Indians go into the bout with a record of 17-7. Jackson won 58-37 in their recent non-league game against Seckman (Imperial, MO)

With the defeat, Caruthersville moves to 7-11 on the year. The Tigers host Cooter (Cooter, MO) to face the Wildcats in a non-league game on Friday, February 16. The Wildcats enter the game with a record of 14-8. Cooter lost 65-54 in their recent non-league game against Twin Rivers (Broseley, MO)
