Cromwell Panthers (Cromwell, CT) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Westbrook Knights (Westbrook, CT), 67-34 in a league bout.

With the victory, Cromwell upgrades its record to 17-2 on the campaign. The Panthers host Academy of Science and Innovation (New Britain, CT) to play the Ravens in a non-league bout on Wednesday, February 21. The Ravens come into the bout with a record of 18-1. Academy of Science and Innovation won 68-57 in their recent league bout against Weaver (Hartford, CT)

Next up, the Knights play the Hale Ray Noises (Moodus, CT) in a Shoreline game, on Friday, February 16. Westbrook will attempt to move on its 2-16 season record. The Noises enter the game with a 6-13 record after their 61-51 league win over Coginchaug Regional (Durham, CT).
