In Thursday's league outing, the Custer Wildcats (Custer, SD) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Lead-Deadwood Golddiggers (Lead, SD), by a margin of 88-46.
The Wildcats (12-6) will now prepare for their outing against Hot Springs (Hot Springs, SD). The Bison go into the A Region 8 outing with a 13-3 record. In their last outing, Hot Springs smashed More (Rapid City, SD), 43-38, in a league outing.
The Golddiggers now own a 4-15 record. They play next when they travel to Rapid City Christian for a A Region 8 outing on Monday, February 19. Lead-Deadwood will encounter a Comets squad coming off a 71-69 league win over Hill City (Hill City, SD). The Comets record now stands at 16-2.
