In Thursday's non-league outing, the Leonia Lions (Leonia, NJ) basketball squad edged the visiting Eastern Christian Eagles (North Haledon, NJ), by a margin of 74-69.
The Lions (7-17) will now prepare for their outing against Becton (East Rutherford, NJ). The Wildcats go into the non-league outing with a 11-13 record.
The Eagles now own a 7-17 record. They play next when they travel to Saddle River Day for a non-league outing on Friday, February 23. Eastern Christian will clash with a Rebels squad coming off a 57-55 non-league loss to Glen Rock (Glen Rock, NJ). The Rebels record now stands at 7-11.
