Fountain Valley Danes (Colorado Springs, CO) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Colorado Springs School Kodiaks (Colorado Springs, CO), 54-52 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Fountain Valley upgrades its record to 8-7 on the season. The Danes host Calhan (Calhan, CO) to clash with the Bulldogs in a non-league bout on Saturday, February 17. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 5-13. Calhan lost 64-50 in their recent league bout against Dolores Huerta Prep (Pueblo, CO)

Next up, the Kodiaks clash with the Elbert Bulldogs (Elbert, CO) in a 2A Black Forrest bout, on Saturday, February 17. Colorado Springs School will attempt to upgrade on its 7-10 season record. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a 13-5 record after their 74-45 league loss to Simla (Simla, CO).
