With the victory, Oakley improves its record to 6-13 on the campaign. The Plainsmen travel to Hoxie (Hoxie, KS) to confront the Indians in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, February 20. The Indians come into the challenge with a record of 7-11. Hoxie lost 51-49 in their recent non-league challenge against Phillipsburg (Phillipsburg, KS)

Next up, the Bulldogs confront the Northern Valley Huskies (Almena, KS) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, February 16. Golden Plains will attempt to improve on its 6-12 season record. The Huskies come into the challenge with a 17-1 record after their 77-39 non-league win over Decatur Community (Oberlin, KS).
