Grundy Center Spartans (Grundy Center, IA) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Iowa Falls-Alden Cadets (Iowa Falls, IA), 93-53 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Grundy Center upgrades its record to 18-3 on the season. The Spartans travel to Aplington-Parkersburg (Parkersburg, IA) to play the Falcons in a non-league bout on Tuesday, February 20. The Falcons go into the bout with a record of 17-5. Aplington-Parkersburg won 69-59 in their recent non-league bout against Dike-New Hartford (Dike, IA)
