South Dakota High School Basketball - Viborg/Hurley can't hold off Howard

The Howard Tigers basketball team scored 54 points and restricted the visiting Viborg/Hurley Cougars to 53 in the Tigers non-league victory on Thursday.
The Tigers now sport a 16-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Arlington for a non-league contest on Friday, February 16. Howard will battle a Cardinals team coming off a 59-41 non-league loss to Chester (Chester, SD). The Cardinals record now stands at 3-15.
The Cougars (13-5) will now prepare for their contest against Gayville-Volin (Gayville, SD). The Raiders come into the B Region 4 contest with a 9-9 record. In their last contest, Gayville-Volin was nudged by Freeman (Freeman, SD), 72-63, in a league contest.
