Jeffersontown Chargers (Louisville, KY) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Trinity Shamrocks (Louisville, KY), 62-58 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Jeffersontown upgrades its record to 12-14 on the campaign. The Chargers host Elizabethtown (Elizabethtown, KY) to play the Panthers in a non-league bout on Saturday, February 17. The Panthers come into the bout with a record of 18-7. Elizabethtown won 62-59 in their recent non-league bout against Taylor County (Campbellsville, KY)

Next up, the Shamrocks play the Collins Titans (Shelbyville, KY) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, February 20. Trinity will attempt to upgrade on its 20-7 season record. The Titans come into the bout with a 9-19 record after their 61-36 non-league loss to Lloyd Memorial (Erlanger, KY).
