Illinois High School Basketball - Lewistown can't hold off Midwest Central

The Midwest Central Raiders basketball team scored 54 points and restricted the host Lewistown Indians to 51 in the Raiders non-league victory on Thursday.
The Raiders now sport a 5-24 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Illini Bluffs for a non-league contest on Monday, February 19. Midwest Central will battle a Tigers team coming off a 72-48 league win over Mt. Pulaski (Mt. Pulaski, IL). The Tigers record now stands at 28-3.
The Indians (3-24) will now prepare for their contest against Delavan (Delavan, IL). The Panthers come into the non-league contest with a 17-14 record. In their last contest, Delavan edged Cuba/Spoon River Valley (Cuba, IL), 69-55, in a non-league contest.
