Illinois High School Basketball - Tri-City thwarted by Lutheran

The Tri-City Tornadoes basketball team (Buffalo, IL), dropped 60-50 in Thursday's league battle with the visiting Lutheran Crusaders (Springfield, IL)

The Crusaders now possess a 13-17 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Calvary for a non-league battle on Monday, February 19. Lutheran will confront a Saints team coming off a 69-47 league win over Pawnee (Pawnee, IL). The Saints record now stands at 22-9.

The Tornadoes (2-26) will now prepare for their battle against Williamsville (Williamsville, IL). The Bullets come into the non-league battle with a 20-9 record. In their last battle, Williamsville dropped by Auburn (Auburn, IL), 48-40, in a league battle.
