Louisiana High School Basketball - St. Charles Catholic can't hold off Metairie Park Country Day

The Metairie Park Country Day Cajuns basketball team scored 62 points and restricted the visiting St. Charles Catholic Comets to 61 in the Cajuns league victory on Thursday.
The Cajuns now sport a 18-12 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Newman for a 2A District 10 contest on Friday, February 16. Metairie Park Country Day will battle a Greenies team coming off a 66-28 league win over King Charter (New Orleans, LA). The Greenies record now stands at 16-10.
The Comets (22-5) will now prepare for their contest against David Thibodaux (Lafayette, LA). The Bulldogs come into the non-league contest with a 21-10 record. In their last contest, David Thibodaux edged North Vermilion (Maurice, LA), 39-31, in a league contest.
